  1. Hi Cullen my name is Poet and I am a year 6 at Paihia School. I really liked your blog post about “Deconstructed Recount “ because I liked they way you describe the waves crashing into the sand and what the yummy bowl of food smelled like. It was very interesting because you had all these different pictures and you could describe every one of the pictures.
What did the fire smell like?

  2. Hi Cullen my name is Jacob and I’m a year six student at Paihia School. Your deconstructed recount looks really good because you have added pictures to add what your senses are doing. I always use to have to plan out my writing and the key parts to the story. I found it easy because it made everything in my story come together really well with a more detailed piece of writing.
Did you enjoy your holiday? What was your favorite bit?

  3. Kia Ora Cullen, my name is Savitri and I am a year six student from Paihia School. I really liked your post about “Deconstructed recount” of your holidays, and how you explained your experience through your senses. You used pictures to show what you saw, heard, tasted, felt and smelled on your trip, that gave your post a visual effect which I liked the most.

What was the name of place that you went to???
